Global identity for Paris Cocktail Festival
Concept, Art direction, graphic design
The Cocktail Culture
For a few years, the cocktail has returned to center stage with an epicurean and gourmet clientele. Following this dynamic, the Paris Cocktail Festival wants to showcase cocktails by all means: conferences, initiation workshops, lounge, dinner, evenings and unique events at the Élysée Montmartre. The Paris Cocktail Festival asked us to intervene on their global visual identity and to accompany the visual creation of their event.
Cocktails and Paris
The logotype is built around an acronym and a typographic creation. Several concepts intersect to evoke cocktails and the city of Paris: a subtle treatment of the letter A echoing the famous Eiffel Tower, the Parisian art deco/chic font drawing and a reversed A to symbolize a cocktail glass.
A specific mixology
The graphic charter is enriched with a grid, as an entanglement of forms relating to the universe of the cocktail. The main typographic block can be juxtaposed to this frame, depending on the communication media, for a final singular rendering reinforcing the reference to the mixology.
